FINAL JUDGEMENT
Written by David Wilkerson The apostle Paul, one of the most faithful servants of God, had three major motivations behind loyalty: Hope, love and fear.
Paul had a blessed hope of eternal life that motivated him to be faithful also had a great love for Christ, in Corinthians 5:14 says: "For the love of Christ constrains us" implying that urged him to remain faithful to God, but the loyalty of Paul also was motivated by something else, the awe that caused him to think that day he was to stand before the Judge of the world on the Day of Judgement.
Today, the vast majority of Christians only possess the first two motivations. Every believer confesses to have hope of eternal life. Many say with all sincerity. "I know and love Jesus with all my heart," but what is lacking in the Church of Jesus Christ in these last days is the third motivation: The awful reality that will one day stand before the holy God and will have to account each of their actions, thoughts and motives. [Very few times and that if we do, we think that Judgement Day].
It is this truth that must come Judgement Day, which produces serious believers and saints. Those who avoid thinking about it are usually cold, careless and indulgent.
However, perhaps sometime soon, each person present at the scene of Judgement to be judged by Jesus Christ: "For we must all appear before the tribunal of Christ”. Corinthians 5:10] "So each of us shall give account of himself to God." [Romans 14:12]. At this very moment, the angels are ready to receive Jesus' command to gather from all corners of the earth, both the wicked and the righteous. "The Son of Man will send his angels and gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity." [Matthew 13:41]
All the rich, famous and powerful of all ages will be brought and presented to him: "And the kings of the earth, and great, rich, captains, mighty ... hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the lamb, for the big day of their wrath has come, and who can stand? "[Revelation 6:15-17]
There is a famous actress who is constantly talking about reincarnation, says he has lived many lives and when I die, will return to earth in another body. An angel of the Lord shall be sent to their graves, body and soul joining. Suddenly discover that there is no afterlife. Instead, be called by the judge at the last court, a court without appeal. And the only life after this life, is eternal damnation for all those who rejected him.
Indeed, the angels will gather all the "weeds" sinners and wicked and drag them in bundles to burn them. [See Matthew 13:40,30]. They will not come voluntarily, but moaning, weeping and gnashing of teeth.
GOD HAS REGISTERED IN BOOKS THAT EVERY SOUL HAS LIVED SINCE ADAM
God keeps writing every action of every person, every thought, word and deed. The reasons for the Christian are in a "log book", the Book of Life. On the day of Judgement, Christ will remind everyone in this book:
"Then they that feared the Lord spake often one to another, and the Lord listened and heard, and was writing the book by heart before Him for those who fear the Lord ... They shall be mine, saith the LORD of hosts, on the day that I shall do, and will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him. "[Malachi 3:16-17]
If you love Jesus with all your heart and are cleansed by His blood, then your name is inscribed in the Book of Life. They have no fear because this message, in fact, must bring great joy to your heart that God has planned for those who love him.
But there is the Book, and are separate books. The Bible says that each person has his own book, written where every event of his life on earth. "I saw a great white throne and him who sat on him, fled from the earth and sky ... And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before God, and another book was opened ... and the dead were judged by the things that were written in the books, according to his works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it, and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them, and were judged by their deeds. "[Revelation 20:11-13]
The evil and the wicked will be judged by everything that is written in these books, one by one, before the Judge of all the earth.
The Scriptures say that every person has a resurrected body at the time. Sinners have a body "Ready to destruction." [Romans 9:22]. But the Saints will be given a new body, like the Lord. When the trial ended, the Lamb will rise from his throne and lead his flock to eternal paradise.
However, before the judge does this, He calls us to his side as the evil judge: "He who overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father on His throne. "(Revelation 3:21). Jesus will say to us: Come sit at my right while the trial proceeds.
TRY TO IMAGINE THE SCENE AS TRIAL BEGINS
Hitler scream in agony as the Judge says to His angels to read the list of the names of each Jewish murderer. Six million names, those of every man, woman and child killed. Each call will be repeated every cry from the ovens will be heard again. All his executioners share their terror.
After passing the army of doctors and nurses who helped to abort, standing before the judge, shaking as I listened to the list of the names of millions of babies. God has a name for each one, because according to the Scriptures they were known from eternity. [See Jeremiah 1:5].Each cry inside the womb will be returned to hear, while doctors who committed these acts murderers will have to stand listening.Every mother who let her baby be killed to see a life that God planned for your child and how they stole it. The judge will expose everything.
Then will those who "neglected their salvation." [Ver Hebreos 2:3]. [See Hebrews 2:3]. They are very frightened, and believed not to be numbered with the transgressors. You will hear their cry: "We went to church, We call you by name. We were not evil. But the judge says: "All our righteousness are as filthy rags." [Isaiah 64:6]. Others will say: "We have cast out demons, heal the sick. We did great work on your behalf. "But the judge answered:" I tell you do not know where ye are: depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. "[Luke 13:27]
An angel will stand among them, repeating the scriptures that they heard during his life: "I do not respond rapidly to things they heard" [See Hebrews 2:1).
Also before the throne are many other faces I remember, I know their names, just remember the hate I saw in their faces and the terrible curses that came from his lips: They are the faces of three lesbian, watching me intently in front of a building offices in Manhattan. "Operation Rescue" was evangelizing to a clinic for abortions. And those three girls were screaming and cursing, "Bring out your rubbish in the streets Christ. Take your Jesus and métanse back into their holes. "
It is the face of the doctor who aborted, the man who made a fortune killing unborn children. He raised his fist to threaten Christians, the veins in his neck were swollen, and hatred filled his eyes. And cried aloud, "I'm going to grab for it, I will sue. ” You pay me. "
They are also the faces of the gay parade full of lust for the Columbus Circle during the parade "Gay Pride" in New York two years ago. I was watching gay activists marched 250.000.The mere fact of seeing someone carrying a Bible caused the lifting of mocking chorus: "! Jesus was homosexual. God is gay! "And wicked rhymes:
"We're queer and we're here Take care of your children that they're going."
It was not blasphemous words or the incredible arrogance that struck me was the hatred of Christ, the look that said that if Jesus were there that day, happy to have nailed the tree closest to Central Park.
However, there will soon be before the throne of the trial, grouped in a heap, paralyzed with agony and fear. It is the day of wrath and vengeance of God. Now, as each book is opened, and every vile act is read aloud, "What has happened to their taunts? Where are now his most daring blasphemy of sacred? Where are their cries?
Recently I preached at Yale University when a group of gay activists came with placards trying to disrupt the meeting. My sermon was about hell and as I speak, a solemn silence of the Holy Spirit was there. The silence was so overwhelming that a reporter said: "It seemed that even my pencil made noise," homosexuals were not moving, were paralyzed. At that moment I understood how it is for them the day of Judgement, when they have to stand before the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Scriptures declare: "So wicked shall not stand in the Judgement." [Psalm 1:5] See now other trembling before the throne of Judgement: Judges who allowed unborn children were killed. Atheist university professors, who filled an entire generation of disgust and hatred for Christ. Lying politicians who removed prayer and God of our society. Godless presidents, dictators and leaders of many people. Actors and filmmakers who blaspheme Christ. Artists who despised his work, painting the cross submerged in a toilet.Bankers, business people, rich, who once took pride and never had time for him now, what are they doing?
They will stand, listening and waiting their turn, listening to the Angel of the Lord cry among them: "Know that your sin will find you out." [Numbers 32:23]
The judge called WITNESSES
Judge, Jesus Christ, will call witnesses. They testify by either you or against you.
1 .- The first witness is the Word of God: "He who rejects Me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word I have spoken will judge him on the last day." [John 12:48]
Will give an account of every sermon, gospel song cassette or heard, of each verse of the Bible or pamphlet read. Jesus says, every word I have spoken will judge you on that day. My Word will witness.
2 .- witnesses rise up like the people of Nineveh, the men of Sodom and the Queen of Sheba. Jesus says: "The men of Nineveh will stand up in court with this generation and condemn it because they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and behold more than Jonas here. The Queen of the South will rise at the Judgement with this generation and condemn it, for she came from the ends of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon, and behold more than Solomon here. "[Matthew 12:41 - 42]
When you stand before the Judge and his book is opened, the vast multitude of Nineveh come forward. Those who died in the holocaust of Sodom and Gomorrah come to the front as well as those of Tyre and Sidon. These wicked surround him, amazed at the great list of opportunities you had to receive the Word of God: Bibles, tapes, radio, television, teachers, friends, family, etc., Cry out: The trial of this man must be worse than ours How could so many opportunities and deny the light? We did not have a Bible, or constant reminders, no second chance. And he did.
Jesus said that Sodom would have repented if he had heard what you heard: "For if in Sodom had been wrought the miracles that have been done in thee, would have remained until this day" [Matthew 11:23]. The men of Sodom had been dressed in sackcloth and ashes if they had heard a fragment of evangelistic preaching you have heard.
3. Preachers and pastors will be called as witnesses: "And this gospel of the kingdom in the world for a witness unto all nations" [Matthew 24:14]
We, the pastors will have to stand and testify on her attendance at the house of God. You heard the preaching of the Gospel of Christ. . We will testify before the Judge of all the land, every truth that you listened to either favor or against him.
Perhaps more unfortunate than SOULS TO BE THE JUDGE, ARE THESE THE BIBLE CALLS "unprofitable servant"
These were the servants, that is, those who claimed themselves by the name of the Lord. While preparing this message, it was the group most concerned me. The "wicked servant" is that "hid" his talent, was too lazy to invest time in your life and God's interests, and "neglect" their stuff. These are the typical man or woman, always busy, who came to the house of God once a week to maintain the appearance of religion. But here's what the Lord says of the weak and mediocre service "wicked and lazy servant, you knew that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I scattered no seed. Therefore, you should have put my money to the bankers, and at my coming I should have received mine own with interest ... And cast the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. "[Matthew 25:26,27,30]
Much regret the unprofitable servant at the time you open your book! The judge will show the world how much time and effort used to make money, looking for personal safety, growing their bank accounts, worrying, ignoring his family, forgetting God and leaving the assembly of believers.
On that day God will bring him before the time who despised the Church meetings, any activity lazy and self-centered. Then, in the eyes of this servant appear all that was spent to build houses, cars, furniture, clothing, jewelry, securities, etc..
Suddenly, the eyes of the Judge will see a beam: The fire of a God who has been scorned and turned around as a Hydrogen bomb. Standing before the judge will be an angel, and angel's hands a pile of dust. The Lord will turn to the unprofitable servant and say: "This is the total value of business you did during your life. I needed you, but you abandoned me. You gave me so little time, until finally took me out of your life completely. ” You wasted life for a handful of dust, even though you were warned that it would burn like straw in the oven. "
Oh, how I regret that day, the man who had no time for God! He goes to compulsory service on Sunday morning with his wife and children, because "it's the right thing, but it has a heart for God. He was never seen in the prayer meeting or enjoying a true fellowship with the saints, encouraging and being encouraged in the Lord, as the Word commands.
But on the Day of Judgement, the judge will say, "Take this worthless slave and throw him out of My presence. His heart is not with me, never has been, he left his first love a long time ago that I would not be the love of his heart, because if so, at all times of your life I would be in your mind on your business in his family, in all their deeds. He would have put my interests above all else. Oh who will not fear the Day of Judgement!
WHAT IS JUDGEMENT DAY FOR THE TRUE CHILDREN OF GOD?
The first thing the judge will be separating the sheep from the goats. He will not allow their just are counted among the sinners, instead, call His angels to gather his pack to his right hand
"And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. And he shall set the sheep on his right and the goats on the left. Then the King will say to those on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world "[Matthew 25:32-34]
The Bible is very clear in saying that those who remain in Christ and await his coming, have courage and confidence in that day:
"And now, little children, abide in Him, that when he appears we may have confidence, so that in His coming to us not be ashamed before Him" John 2:28]. "By this love is perfected in us, so we have confidence in the Day of Judgement: because as He is, so are we in this world." [1ª. John 4:17]
How can someone have such joy and trust in the Day of Judgement? The answer is simple: because the Son of God knows the judge as his friend, brother, Redeemer, Lord, lawyer, advocate, the love of his heart, his life.
A test will show whether or not you're ready to go to trial as a sheep of the Lord, with joy, courage and confidence. [1ª. The Bible says: "So if we were to examine ourselves, not be judged" [1 st. Corinthians 11:31]
Are you willing to judge yourself?
If so, ask yourself these three questions:
1. Want you, and awaits the coming of the Lord? Are you eager for his coming? Are you dreaming of the day when He appears?
"Looking for that blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ" [Titus 2:13] "Moreover, I is a crown of righteousness, which will give me the Lord, the righteous judge, on that day and not only me but also to all who love His appearing "
[2ª Timothy 4:8]
This world is not our home. But I ask: Are you taking root in this world, "Are you tearing out roots in this world? or "Are you pulling the roots praying:" Jesus keep my heart awake?
"Waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God ... Wherefore, beloved, looking forward to these things, be diligent to be found by Him without spot and blameless in peace. "[2 Peter 3:12,14 [
J. Jesus said, "Do business till I come." (Luke 19:13). We must all continue our daily life and work. But at every moment of our day, our hearts should cry, "Yes, come, Lord Jesus." [Revelation 22:20]
2. Are your enemies, the enemies of God?Are you in the battle against those who oppose God? Have you taken up the battle against him in the flesh, the world and the devil? or Have you left the battle in the hands of other members of the body of Christ?
If you are going to stop before the world and judge the enemies of God on the Day of Judgement, you have to make their enemies now. David said: "Do not hate them, O Lord, to those who hate you, and I hate them completely, I have them as enemies. "[Psalm 139:21-22]
Yes, Jesus said that we should love our enemies. But what their enemies, those who hate him, refusing his grace and mercy, and slander his name and he is dragged through the mud? We should not hate men, but we hate the sin in their hearts and demonic powers that govern them. e hate the evil in the world.
However, you say in your heart: "This world has always been evil, and every day it will get worse, I that I can do? ” ¡No! At least keep my clothes clean before God. The gates of hell come against the Church of Jesus Christ in these last days as never before.
God is calling, "Who will stand up for me against the evildoers?" [Psalm 94:16] When Judgement Day comes, I want to say with Paul: "I have fought the good fight." [2 ª. Tim4:7] I want to receive Jesus Christ struggling to his knees, filled with hatred toward sin in my life and the world.
3.- Have you stopped to gather with the pure heart that invoke God?
"Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as some people do, but encourage and even more, as ye see the day approaching." [Hebrews 10:25]
It is no coincidence that the next verse speaks of "sin willfully" after the truth has been revealed. . Actually, it is a historically proven fact that people become more careless just before the trial and calamity.
Always, before any company is out of control, its people walking in all but God. Making money behind the pleasure, safety, personal goals, etc., And in recent times things get worse. The believers were leaving worship services.
The Apostle warns us, now that the day is near, not neglecting to meet together, it is time to seek God more earnestly, and join forces with the real winners.
If your church is the meeting on Sunday, a TV program, radio, or a social gathering, so loved, you are not gathering with believers. You are not receiving or giving mood, as God commands us.
What is the Judgement, but the latest gathering of his flock? Will you be there voluntarily with hope and joy? The judge knows those who love and who love their body, so that they can not stay away from his brothers.
I warn you. The books will be open that day and the judge is taking notes of everything at this moment.
Did you pass the test?
If you know in your heart that is not ready to stand before Jesus (and that time is not slow), then you have to realize why we have read today. This message is enough to condemn him to hell forever. If rejected, you will witness against him in the Day of Judgement.
Is it more important to you your job, your possessions or even their ministry, that the things of God? Have you neglected your family? Are you satisfied that goes to church every Sunday and says to himself: "I have done my part for God"?
The Word of God is quite clear.
THAT'S NOT ENOUGH
If you have tried and been found wanting, should meditate upon his ways now that there is time: "Seek the Lord while he may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts, and return unto the Lord, and He will have mercy upon him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. "[Isaiah 55:6-7]
